The American Vision – Politically Derelict – With Guest Jerry Loeb: Author of Politically Derelict Volume 1 & 2

By TLB Contributing Author & TLBTV Show Host: Bill Muckler

Jerry Loeb resides in sunny Albuquerque, New Mexico where he cheers on his beloved New York Yankees. He is the son of a career Navy carrier pilot. He served in the US Army as an enlisted soldier in the late 1970s. In May 1983, he graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. of Communications in Journalism with Minors in Military Science and World History and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant.

Jerry served in Saudi Arabia as a US Army Reserve Captain in the Operation Desert Storm/ Enduring Freedom. He has toiled in distinctly different jobs: journalist, soldier, collections agent, English teacher, cemetery worker, paperboy, busboy and general administrative drone jobs with a short stint in car sales. He has written in various newspapers and periodicals in the US as well as Europe, where he resided for 15 years.

“Politically Derelict,” written in 2016 is the first in a series of satirical political humor. Politically Derelict examines the political minefields of social media and the mainstream media with style and panache. This book is a handy “survival guide” to reach for when the news about politics and our politicians gets too much to bear. Chapters dealing with social media gold diggers, trolls and political types across the wide American spectrum are examined with a jaundiced, jaded eye. If laughter is the best medicine, Politically Derelict delivers without any side effects.

“Politically Derelict, Volume 2” is a humorous take on Social Media, politics and online Americana in the 21st Century Cyberwhirl. The curious creatures of the Swampy Black Lagoon in the post-Donald Trump election of November 2016 are deftly skewered with flair and meant to entertain Political Derelicts everywhere. This book uses the actual postings of Democrats sucking on the binky of defeat and the triumphant words of Hillary Clinton’s “Deplorables” as it examines the strange, slightly-exotic and funny musings of a country in transition.

Jerry novels include “No More Moves” (1993), “Wahoo Dan” (2015) and “The Perfect Glitch” (2017). He is currently working on his next books: “Skymaster” (2018), another novel titled “The Stiletto Vote” (2020) and a collection of short stories titled “Orange Sun” (2021). You can find his daily musings on Facebook at Jerry Loeb and Gerald A. Loeb, author.

The video interview covers all aspects of Jerry’s humorous and outrageous musings. Treat yourself to some political jabs and giggles.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … TLB
