Communication comes in many forms, from the way we express ourselves verbally to the way we express ourselves non-verbally; but how exactly do we respond to it when conflict arises? Another question is why do we, ourselves, become involved in conflict? Yet, another… how do we prevent and avoid it?

In this episode, my returning guest, Phil DeLuca who is also known as “the Un-Talk TM Therapist “ delves into the details of how our body and brain unite in conveying what we discuss or argue about with others. Specifically, he details how understanding our wiring can improve relationships. For example, he talks about what part of the brain (“our lizard brain”) becomes inflamed and why it does, along with the need and what fuels its fire. Understanding this, allows us to prevent and avoid conflict. This Un-Talk Therapist even shares how to de-tox during a brain inflamed furno.

Research proves the majority of illnesses we are afflicted with begin in the “gut.” DeLuca discusses the top 3 leading causes of death, one of which is Alzheimer’s disease, now becoming synonymous with Type 3 Diabetes. This correlation is interesting, as it tells us much about how diseases are directly connected to what is happening within our digestive system. He further indicates that it is precisely due to the alkaline and acid ratios.

For more information on an at home test kit and detailed book to maintain the proper alkaline ratios within the body to prevent and heal illness go to pH Healthy.com. Here you can also find out how to stock the kit in your local health store, spa, or even medical facilities.

This discernment also connects how prescribed medications cause more ailments, as well as how this affects the way we communicate.

Philip DeLuca, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker; however, he prefers to be called the Un-Talk TM Therapist. He is also a psychotherapy disruptor, relationship healer, author, speaker and guinea pig. He has become what he calls a “psychotherapy disruptor” because he developed an alternative to conventional relationship counseling.

DeLuca has worked with many patients and has discovered conventional therapies do not always work, often creating more problems-even leading to the ending of a relationship. Essentially, the cause is a lack of understanding in the “why” of conflict. Here, after gaining the much needed insight, he provides tactics to combat what is happening to us internally. The result? Less conflict, no conflict, or a way to de-stress during conflict.

Dr. Un focused on successful therapy and developed a method opposite of what is conventionally accepted. He is a relationship healer because he uses a different approach aside from the “Express Yourself” communication approaches that actually damage relationships. He is also a guinea pig because he has used personal struggles to help develop this approach.

During a twelve month international speaking tour to promote his first book “The Solo Partner“ (see more below TLBTV show), he saw- firsthand- the failure of conventional conflict resolution and became more solidly convinced that a new approach was badly needed. He then turned to the latest body and brain science to upgrade the outdated “Express Yourself” model that had been developed in the 60’s. His method brings quick results, in an easy to understand style and way of implementation. He calls is it “communication for the 21st century”. This new approach has become the most efficient and effective way of resolving conflict in relationships.

The Solo Partner is the only book on the market that is written solely for a relationship with problems in which one partner refuses to cooperate in repairing the relationship: they deny a problem exists, blames the other party for any problems or promise to make changes and never follow through with the changes. If you find yourself in this kind of situation then this book was written specifically for your situation. In addition, it provides an alternative to traditional approaches and many times can be successfully used when both parties have worked on resolving their problems yet traditional approaches have failed to resolve their problems.
