In The Crosshairs – The NRA, A Loving Family Despite Drumbeat of Naysayers – With Special Guest, NRA Board Member – Linda Walker
NRA board member tells In the Crosshairs that the NRA is a big loving family, despite the drumbeat of naysayers.
“What’s going on in the last year and a half politically makes me sick,” said Linda Walker, an eight-year board member of the National Rifle Association and Vice President of Buckeye Firearms Association. “The NRA, gun owners and all gun advocates are being attacked from every single direction.”
BFA is a grassroots social welfare organization that serves to defend and advance the Second Amendment rights of more than four million Ohio citizens.
When a mass shooting occurs, Walker said the knee jerk reaction in the mainstream is to create a scapegoat. “Once again, they are blaming us law abiding citizens for the actions of criminals.”
“We need to be on the offense and not the defense,” she continued. “It’s not the gun-owners fault we have nut-bags who are committing heinous crimes.”
The NRA is out there on the front-lines, she said. “In these warlike times, we needed to put a warrior at the helm.” This year, Col. Oliver North was elected President of the NRA.
“The NRA organization is the biggest organization out there fighting for your Second Amendment rights,” said Walker who is an NRA certified instructor.
“Our annual meeting is in Indianapolis the last weekend in April 2019. It’s the biggest family reunion on earth, definitely the safest one, that you actually like everybody that’s there.”

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … TLB
