In The Crosshairs – Riding Shotgun With Charlie – With Guest – Musician, School Teacher, Firearm Instructor & Show Host – Charlie Cook
Massachusetts musician and school teacher, who pursues firearm education through music, cars and guns, tells In the Crosshairs that his unique way of teaching has amassed international attention and is still growing.
“I turn fun ownership into gun ownership,” said Charlie Cook, host and producer of Riding Shotgun With Charlie. “I play the trumpet and interview people in the car.” The NRA-certified firearm instructor said his content has reached well over 20 million views on several different outlets.
“I make videos while I play the trumpet and shoot a gun at the same time,” he added. “I call them gun grams.” Customers choose a special song and Cook said he records a medley of music and guns and sends a video link to anywhere in the world.
Prior to 9-11, he said was not politically active or concerned about Second Amendment rights, either way. “I was a gun-agnostic.” However, he said the reaction by the school administration to 9-11 places children at risk and he was moved to support Second Amendment rights.
“The principal called us in; he said if we have an incident where somebody comes into the school and they weren’t supposed to be there, and bad-things were happening, he would get on the intercom and say, ‘The eagle has landed,’ and we are supposed to lock all the doors and hide under the desk,” said Cook …

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … TLB
