In The Crosshairs – Open Carry Awareness – With Guest, “Open Carry Broward” Founder – Bill White
Hosted by: Raquel Okyay
Open Carry Broward founder tells Crosshairs that even though he was continuously bullied at a Broward County Middle School during the 80’s, school officials did nothing to protect him. The bully was later convicted of killing another student.
Broward County is where an alleged gunman shot and killed 17 people at Parkland High School in February. Soon thereafter, politicians, talking-heads, progressives and student protesters demanded gun control. OCB demands accountability, said Bill White, founder and organizer of OCB. Open Carry Broward is a non-partisan movement to promote open carry awareness in Broward County.
“The Broward County Public School system is a little psycho factory,”
“I am surprised there haven’t been more shootings.”
He said he was suspended from school for five days, after he stabbed his would-be attacker with a pencil.
“They ran away and told school authorities, who preceded to only punish me.”
White, who is the lead guitarist of the band The Lawnmowerz, said that while he has received negative backlash for his efforts, he will continue to stand against restrictions of any civil liberties.
“I fought against the unconstitutional advent of drug testing, I was labeled a junkie. I fought against the TSA and their unconstitutional administrative searches, I was labeled a terrorist. After Sandy Hook, I began fighting against gun control, I was labeled a gun nut ammosexual. When I fought against antifa and the removal of statues, I was labeled a nazi.”

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … TLB
